C++ FOR KIDSTeaching University Curriculum as Tales by Moonlight by Celestine Omokpo Volume 1

C++ FOR KIDS
Teaching University Curriculum as Tales by Moonlight by Celestine Omokpo Volume 1

This book has provided an avenue for children to appreciate IT course while still young. The modernization with respect to information technology has grown so much especially to children’s upbringing and well-being. It has transformed actively in socialization as it could be seen not only on the gadgets being used but its down to the smallest detail as possible. The book has made IT to be readily accessible to children and made it more clear and understandable not only because of the short-cut keys as described in the book but because it has paved openly in each articles and paragraph to appreciate IT even more. Its like a story book making the complicated topics to be morely simplified.
We normally set IT subjects as complicated and having trouble on how kids will understand especially the concepts behind it. Gladly, this book made by Mr. Omokpo has greatly helped children to not only focus on applications but made it easier for them to learn and fascinated by the IT developments. Its like being enrolled in a summer school with children allowing their imagination thru IT developments.
Best described this book as brief yet smart way of teaching kids additional skills. It develops children’s creativity and making openings for children to make their way in the IT development programs. It wasn’t an easy task for the author to make this possible as children would have more and more distractions but this book made it possible. The controls and short cut keys as described in each pages was very clever as it would be easier for children to grasp programs which is likely at this times being forgotten. To think that we use this shortcut keys in our daily work will just be magic in this book. Children will be able to finish the book without trying hard to understand every words or phrases stated in every paragraph.

Hospital Bullies

Book review on Hospital Bullies in the Philippine Clerkship and Residency Training
A book of discernment for Physicians, Nurses and Psychologists
Volume 1 EXPOSING THE HIDDEN TRAITS OF A BULLY by ERWIN L. MANZANO, M.D.

Bullies are everywhere in our society may it be in classrooms or in the workplace. But what is surprising are bullies that exist in hospitals and in the medical field of study. The author makes several volumes of his book to fully understand and be able to counter the effects of bullying in the medical profession. Gaslighting, superiority and dominance made a primordial role in the bully’s appearance. It was not as easy to understand especially on the part of the medical trainee or nurses during affiliation. They might think it as normal or like customary but neither do they know that they were already victims of bullying. Manzano has made in depth research and based on experiences on how crucial and hollow it is for the victims to make complaints which has become a norm and practice. However, Dr. Manzano thinks of bullying as something that cannot just be eradicated in one simple information, the reason why he made volumes on the bullying traits.
Though bullying is not a new word, on the contrary it is as common as what we see and feel in our everyday lives but what makes it unusual were the traits and the expounding of circumstances that makes one a bully during residency training and clerkship among others. We see bullies as loud and obvious yet the author was able to characterized such hidden traits that were very surprising and something out of our imagination. Hidden traits which can only be discovered as we read chapter by chapter of volume I of his book. We may be able to track down everything on the reasons behind how bullies affect and the discrete acts that they made either for satisfaction or by reason of an ongoing mental health. There were many factors affecting the hidden traits of a bully such as environment among others or past relationships that left a psychological scar on one’s well being.
Even at the contemporary times hospital bullies are everywhere and that anybody may act like one. What makes one a bully is a question that is no longer a hypothesis but was already established by Dr. Manzano. The author has removed the skeptical reasoning of why one is a bully and the common interpretation of being a bully. Concrete examples of traits include making the person feel that he is vulnerable and that the higher ups or immediate superiors have more say or discretion as to decision making. Leaving the intern left with no other choice. The book has surpassed some known psychological books as the traits affecting bullies in the medical profession have been unraveled in the volumes made by Dr. Manzano. It is a very informative book with more dissecting as to how and what went wrong to these so called bullies.

Sentido Comun

Sentido Comun
A book by Sedfrey Lopez Cabaluna

An artist, philanthropist and written masterpieces are best described for the book Sentido Comun. Common sense not in a literal sense but transforming and changing our mindset by being sensitive to the changes and happenings in our community. Speeches and articles are very timely. Some of which were translated to different Filipino slangs.
The height of the pandemic, problems encountered in our community. The forsaken low-class and the richer upper class has drawn a variance in his write ups. Constant reminders from our elders were also discussed and believed to have made the author inspired from the generations that have existed before, transforming into learnings that exist and might exist in the years to come. This book discuss resentment, disappointment in today’s society.
We unveil all circumstances and effects that we’ve experienced for the past years. How it tramples our past, present and future. Unbothered by society’s opinion and judgments. Mr. Cabaluna made it as an after-cry of struggles and aspirations that are happening in today’s time. We tried to look at our government as he sees it like a superman who would rescue us in dire times. Is it not satisfying to look and feel the efforts pragmatically described in his notes? True artist, indeed, every speech has life and history to tell. Overshadowing the recent developments, focuses more on the result and might be the result of any developments. How we want to be and how we want others to be is what the book is all about.
Upper-class, middle and poor are described not to compare each class of society but how it bears the problems, reasons behind it and source of all sources. Bottom-line, there is always something that we should never be taken for granted. What must and not be, what should be exposed and what should be reserved. Words that give life meaningfully to readers. A book that tries to influence, believe and persuade the reader.
